Introduction to Digital Court Reporting
  • This course is designed to give participants a general understanding of how to be a digital court reporter.  
  • Individuals taking this course will learn the basics of the court system including legal system including laws, legal procedure, ethics and professionalism.  Students will also receive an overview of the leading-edge technology, software and equipment used in digital reporting.
  • Students will be able to download a free, 45-day trial of digital court recording software to practice annotation skills.  This course does not include hands-on training with digital reporting equipment.

For optimum performance for the trial software, these are the recommend computer specs:  Microsoft Windows 10 / Current Generation Quad Core Intel or AMD Processor / 8GB RAM / 15” Diagonal Screen Size / Screen Resolution of 1366 x 768 or higher. 

  • This course does not meet the requirements of the one-year exemption for the AAERT exam.  Please view our other course offerings if you are interested in becoming certified through AAERT. https://crtclassroom.blueledge.com
